Yiron System– Multi channel Controller & Switching Unit


The Yiron System architected and designed by EPS, is a rugged conduction cooled multi channel control system serving in harsh ground mobile environment approved for Mil-std-810 and Mil-std-461 standards. The system comprises of a powerful MCPU (EPS Intel Ivy-Bridge® COM-Express based SBC board), high density multi port IO and communication boards (the IOAD), and High Side switches controlling high currents up to 40A. Each control channel comprises of a set of switched & protected Power Supply lines, isolated IO interfaces, Serial, and Ethernet communication ports.

The Odem system, designed and supplied by EPS is a related system for field maintenance and fault location of the Yiron. The Odem enables to test and to simulate adequate loads for all the interfaces of the control channel.

Both systems are highly modular, flexible, and maintainable and are operated by EPS software APIs
