The Yarden rugged server designed and manufactured by EPS, is a rugged 19”, 4U server utilized in sheltered ship borne environment, based on standard industrial PC architecture and aluminum enclosure is approved for Mil-std-810, DOD-STD-1399, D-03-003-007/SF-000, MIL-S-901, MIL-STD-167-1, MIL-STD-740, and Mil-std-461.
The unit comprises a dual Intel Quad Core Xeon embedded industrial motherboard (with 4 PCIe x16 Gen2, 2 PCIx slots), 64GB of RAM, internal SSD, high power dissipating (75 Watts) processing board equipped with EPS designed special heat pipe and airflow based cooling arrangement and front panel accessed removable HD.
Cooling is based on front to rear air flow with adequate dust and EMC filtering and splash protection. All external connectors are of D38999 type.
